Who We Are
APCTC takes a multi-disciplinary and culturally sensitive approach to address the psychological and social needs of our clients. Our mental health professionals work as a team to meet clients' needs, that may be compounded by language and cultural barriers. The goals of our teams are to provide effective treatment in order to reduce psychiatric symptoms, alleviate psychological distress, and to improve functioning levels. APCTC’s staff have an unmatched level of cultural competence and linguistic capabilities, that enable them to work effectively with clients who do not have access to or feel a lack of connection in mainstream healthcare settings. All clients are treated with respect and utmost regard for their dignity and privacy. APCTC is committed to continuing its pioneering tradition and strong leadership at the leading edge of providing culturally sensitive services. APCTC will continue to advocate for the mental health of our community and to systematically maintain and develop effective strategies to meet those needs.
Who We Serve
APCTC provides vital services to adults, older adults, adolescents, and children who are dealing with a wide range of mental health and social problems. Most of these individuals come from the following Asian Pacific communities: Cambodian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Pilipino, Thai and Vietnamese. While the focus of APCTC has been on serving the needs of Asians and Pacific Islanders in need, the Centers also provide services to non-Asian individuals and families.
APCTC was featured in an NBC Documentary on API Mental Health featuring our APCTC colleague Glor Parong.

APCTC is committed to delivering high quality services to our community and we are equally committed to maintaining a high level of quality standards for business practice.
